Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 June 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of The Black Book at clearanceblackbook.com ("the Service"). By purchasing access or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What you're buying

The Black Book is a digital directory of UK clearance and liquidation wholesalers, sold as a one-off payment of £39.99 for lifetime digital access, including future updates. Access is granted to your account once payment is confirmed.

3. Acceptable use

  • Your access is for your own personal or business use only.
  • You may not copy, resell, republish, redistribute or share the directory or its contents with others.
  • You may not scrape, bulk-export or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access without refund if these terms are breached.

4. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. All prices are in GBP and include any applicable taxes. By purchasing, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge the amount shown at checkout.

5. Refunds & digital content

Because The Black Book is digital content delivered instantly, you agree that access begins immediately upon purchase and, to the extent permitted by law, you waive the standard 14-day cancellation right once you have accessed the directory. If you experience a genuine technical problem accessing your purchase, contact support@clearanceblackbook.com and we'll put it right.

6. Accuracy & no guarantees

We compile our supplier list with care, built over 30 years in the trade. However, we cannot guarantee that every supplier's details, stock or terms remain current at all times, and we do not guarantee any particular business outcome or profit. The directory is provided "as is" for your own due diligence.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts of any third-party supplier listed in the directory. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
